Learn More
The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund is a community support program created to help South Berwick’s immigrant residents and families who are facing sudden hardship related to actions by ICE. The program exists to ensure that when our neighbors experience detention, legal uncertainty, family separation, or disruption in their lives, they are not left to navigate the crisis alone.
Through emergency financial assistance, the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund helps stabilize households during moments of uncertainty. Assistance may include attorney fees, bond costs, rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, childcare, and other urgent household needs that help families remain secure while navigating legal processes and rebuilding stability.
The program reflects Wicks Collective’s broader mission to strengthen community life, support neighbors, and build a more connected and welcoming town. We believe preparation matters, and that community preparedness can help our neighbors feel less alone.
All net proceeds raised for Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund will be used exclusively for direct program assistance and distributed in compliance with applicable IRS charitable guidelines. No proceeds designated for this program will be used for Wicks Collective operating expenses.
Should the program ever conclude, any remaining funds will be donated to The Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition to continue supporting immigrant families across Maine.
Wicks Collective is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in South Berwick. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. EIN: 39-2812199.
