Main Street South Berwick Program

The Main Street America: South Berwick Program focuses on strengthening the economic and cultural core of our town by aligning local revitalization efforts with the Main Street America framework and the Maine Downtown Center program of the Maine Development Foundation (www.mdf.org). Through design improvements, business collaboration, and community-driven planning, the program works to enhance our downtown's appeal, strengthen its economic vitality, and build civic pride. By promoting local living and supporting heritage-based development, this program embodies Wicks Collective's mission to create spaces where people stop, stay, and support. Our goal is to establish South Berwick as an officially recognized Main Street America Downtown, ensuring the future of our town center reflects both our history and our goal for a more connected community.
