Initiative 26-01: Strawberry Run Loop Connector

This initiative focuses on completing the pedestrian and cyclist connection between Old Mill and Academy Street, a key missing link in the 5-mile Strawberry Festival loop. By closing this gap, the entire route will be accessible by sidewalk or non-vehicle path—improving safety, promoting active transportation, and enabling full loop access to the Police Station for residents and bike patrol officers alike. The proposed route follows town-owned land and sewer easements where possible and is designed with safety and snow storage in mind by setting the pathway back from Route 236.
